As some of you might already know from my Instagram post, my birthday party was Wednesday night (my real birthday is today!). I had nine of my closest friends over for a few hours in which we played some games, ate pizza, caught up on each others’ summer adventures, took tons of pictures with a DIY photo booth, and had some adorable (and delicious) monogrammed chocolate cake!
I came up with the photo booth idea after seeing a few other people I follow on Instagram use one in their parties. I wasn’t able to construct anything too big like some of theirs, so instead I headed over to Marshalls and found a large frame to pop the back and glass out of. Then, I created props by drawing the things I wanted with some markers, cutting them out, and using wood glue to put them on popsicle sticks. You can purchase similar props online, but I decided to create my own so I would only have the ones that I particularly wanted.
The wonderful ladies at the Frosting Company were kind enough to send me a box of adorably wrapped strawberry champagne bath fizzles (linked here) to give to my guests as party favors! The bath fizzies (basically bath bombs) were shaped like little pink bows and had adorable little bath pearls in the center. They were a huge hit and all of my friends loved them! You can use my discount code “ShopFaith” for 10% off of your purchase at the Frosting Company. A big thank you to the Frosting Company as well as the girls who came for a great time! Enjoy these pictures from my party!
