Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Him & Her

For the past two years I have created Christmas gift guides.  I love writing shopping guide posts like that, so this year I decided to make a Valentine’s Day gift guide!  I’ve picked out a few things that I think would make the perfect gift for that special someone, whether it’s a him or her, in your life.  I’m not in a relationship, but I think some of the gifts I’ve put under “for her” would be super fun to give a gal pal just to remind her how special she is!  Just like with my other gift guides, each of the gifts pictured are linked, so you can shop an item by simply clicking on it.  I personally don’t think Valentine’s Day shopping should be as expensive as shopping for say Christmas or a birthday, so all of the gifts you see are under $15o, but many of the items are much cheaper than that!  I hope this post helps you get ideas for gift giving this Valentine’s Day, enjoy!

For Him

Bow ties are a personal go to if I ever have to buy a gift for a guy, and I think this one looks so nice, I love the red on red and I think it fits the Valentine’s Day theme well while not being overwhelmingly feminine or anything.  According to perfumania.com, this Burberry cologne is a best seller for men plus it’s less than $40 (which is honestly really cheap for anything Burberry.)  If your guy doesn’t already have a pair of bean boots and you’re willing to spend the money, they’re a great investment and he’ll probably get a ton of wear out of them.  Bean boots honestly aren’t terribly expensive when you consider the versatility, quality and life time guarantee.  This Southern Proper fleece pullover looks super nice and warm, and how cute is the red plaid trim?  A pink gingham Vineyard Vines button down is a classic shirt that will get great wear, plus the pink kinda goes with the Valentine’s Day theme.  Lastly, everyone loves a good speaker.  Surely you’ve heard of the new Amazon Echo; it is voice controlled and has a Siri equivalent, Alexa, that can tell you a joke, report the weather forecast, serve as an alarm clock, and more.

For Her

This bright, fun Lilly Pulitzer clutch would be perfect to add a pop of color to any winter outfit and would also be super cute to style during spring break and the summer time.  Rings are always a classy gift, and I think this pave knot ring from Kate Spade is perfect.  Kate Spade’s Live Colorfully perfume smells amazing and the bottle is seriously adorable!  I’ve been obsessing over Kendra Scott’s gorgeous sparkly nail lacquers since they came out last year, and I think this glittery pink one would make a great Valentine’s Day gift.  Monogram necklaces are classic and go with everything, plus this gold plated one is under $40!  Swell water bottles are super trendy right now and I can just about guarantee that any girl would get a ton of use out of this rose gold bottle.  Alex and Ani released a whole Valentine’s Day collection, but I think this gold one with the love charm is my favorite, it’s super simple and would go with everything.  These rose quartz Kendra Scott Danielle Earrings are absolutely gorgeous and if you ask me, totally worth the $65 price – I wear my mother of pearl pair nonstop!  Vineyard Vines often releases signature whale tees with a seasonal twist, and I think this long sleeve with kisses on the whale is adorable!  While it is made for men, most girls love a good oversized tee.
