Recently, the weather here in South Carolina has been crazy. One day it’s warm enough to wear shorts and the next you need a scarf and coat. Some days I’ll get in the car in the morning shivering with a thick jacket on and go to lacrosse practice in the afternoon wearing nothing but Nike shorts and a sports bra under my pinnie. I find days like these super hard to dress for, not only because the temperature change throughout the day is so drastic, but because I would feel so awkward pulling out spring items like my sandals so early in the year.
My favorite outfit solution to this weather dilemma is a cute tank under a light cardigan with rolled up jeans and booties. This outfit keeps me warm for the few minutes I spend outside while walking into school in the mornings, but also isn’t unbearably warm when I leave for lacrosse practice in the afternoons (plus, you can always just take off the cardigan). The tank and sweater in this particular outfit are actually from Marshalls, so both of the links at the end of the posts are for similar items. However, this outfit concept is super basic and you could recreate it with any tank and cardigan you’d like! I have to say, I would definitely recommend checking your local Marshalls for cardigans. I’ve purchased a few there and all of my friends buy theirs there as well because they always have cute ones in stock and they’re typically pretty inexpensive. I added a few of my recent favorite jewelry items to this particular outfit. I’ve been obsessed with these druzy rose gold studs from Noelle Taylor Jewelry lately, they’re gorgeous and really inexpensive (only $6, what a steal!). I also love wearing my white and gold glass beaded bracelet from Sashka Co., it’s super cute and so versatile because of the simple colors. Plus, purchasing Sashka Co. bracelets help to provide full time jobs for the artisans in Nepal who make them. Be sure to check out both of these jewelry brands here and here! The rest of my jewelry is basic; a freshwater pearl necklace, my Giving Key bangle, a simple thin rose gold ring, and of course my Kate Spade watch.

Thanks for reading!
The earrings from Noelle Taylor Jewelry as well as the beaded bracelet from Sashka Co. featured in this post were sent to me in exchange for a feature in my blog. However, all opinions are honest and my own. I don’t feature products I don’t truly love!
I love your cardigan.
