To my surprise, the snow predicted for Tuesday night actually brought some significant snow, like four inches significant (which is a lot for my part of South Carolina!). These wonderful four inches resulted in two snow days for my county, as well as the perfect photo op. Today I’m sharing my cozy snow day look! Enjoy!
My little sister received an oversized grey sweater from Urban Outfitters for Christmas and I’ve been dying to borrow it since I watched her open it (just sister things, right?). Yesterday she was so sweet to let me style it! I paired it with my green ripped jeans for a little color and added a houndstooth scarf for some extra “warmth” (even though the way I wore it only really kept the back of my neck warm). My brown L.L. Bean boots have been my go to snow shoe since I got them in middle school, so it’s no surprise they were part of this ensemble. As far as jewelry goes, I layered my favorite everyday gold necklaces and wore a fun pair of pearl hoops a friend gave me for Christmas. Gloves were an obvious necessity because I can’t touch the snow (and therefore can’t defend myself against my siblings during our snowball fights) without freezing if I don’t wear them!

I definitely enjoyed my day off from school. I spent time playing in the snow, working on my blog, and relaxing for a bit.
