An Outfit Inspired by Jeanine Amapola

Happy Saturday!  I’m so excited to finally be on spring break.  Today I’m continuing my monthly series “An Outfit Inspired by…”!  These posts are some of my favorite to shoot and write, it’s so fun to see how many of my fashion icons I can mimic with items I already own!  This look was inspired by another one of my favorite YouTubers, Jeanine Amapola!  Enjoy!

Jeanine Amapola, a twenty-four year old University of Texas at Austin graduate, started her beauty, fashion, and lifestyle YouTube channel in 2011.  Seven years and 1.6 million subscribers later, Jeanine now lives in both Dallas, TX and Los Angeles, CA.  Jeanine uses her 304,000 follower Instagram platform, @jeanineamapola, to share photos of her outfits, travels, and friends.  I would describe Jeanine’s style as trendy and minimalist, much like Morgan Yates and Brooke Miccio (click on their names to check out my outfits inspired by them!).

For my outfit inspired by Jeanine Amapola, I knew I had to wear my jean jacket and a pair of sneakers.  My UGG slip-ons are definitely Jeanine-esque and are easily dressed up!  Jeanine wears a good amount of white, so this white ruffle cami top from J.Crew was the perfect piece to layer under my jean jacket.  Like I said before, Jeanine seems to love experimenting with trends, so I thought my maroon denim skirt would be a nice option to wear on the bottom.  Jeanine wears very little jewelry, so I wore some simple band rings, a single cuff bracelet, a layered necklace set, and some faux pearl earrings.

Thanks for reading!  Let me know who you’d like to see an outfit inspired by next!
