Three Trends, One Dress

Experimenting with trends has become one of my favorite fashion activities, but why stop at trying out just one?  Today I’m sharing an adorable dress that incorporates three of my current favorite trends; an off the shoulder neckline, embroidery, and bell sleeves!  This dress was recently sent to me by a new online boutique called Violet Skye, so be sure to check them out!  I hope you love the way I styled the dress.  Enjoy!

Before I start talking about this look, I just want to say that I am so beyond impressed with the quality of this dress.  It’s super soft and comfortable, has an elastic band in the top to prevent slipping (aka the biggest downfalls of off the shoulder pieces), and has the cutest details including embroidery and fringe!  I’m also obsessed with the color; this bright indigo is perfect for spring and summer!  Be sure to check out Violet Skye Boutique here for more fun pieces this season!  Between the fun hue and elaborate embroidery, the dress makes enough of a statement on its own, so I opted for simple jewelry including my pearl hoops, Kendra Scott necklace, MantraBand, cross cuff, and some dainty rings.  The gold wiry layered ring you’ll notice you haven’t seen me wear before is a new favorite of mine from Milk & Honey Market!  Milk & Honey Market was introduced to me by one of my YoungLife leaders and is a neat site that allows you to shop several small jewelry brands that provide safe jobs to women in areas where trafficking is common.  Read more about Milk & Honey Market here!   To dress up the look a bit, I chose a neutral pair of block heels.
