Winter Wishlist 2018

Winter fashion is a tricky game of staying warm while staying stylish, and it seems as though I’m always seeking out the solution to this dilemma somewhere outside of my own closet.  Today I’m sharing ten pieces I’m currently eying this season in a winter wishlist!  These items would be added to my cart instantaneously if I had the money to buy them all, but while I’m dreaming of the day that I can actually do that I’m showing them to you.  I created a little graphic and numbered each item to coordinate with their name, link, and description below.  Maybe these pieces will give you some ideas if you still have Christmas money burning a hole in your pocket or the descriptions will just give you some inspiration on how to style them if you already own them!  Enjoy!

  1. J.Crew Factory Tie Bell-Sleeve Sweater in Hthr Graphite – Bell sleeves make such a simple statement in an outfit and the adorable bows on these bell sleeves add a classy touch!  This sweater could be dressed up or down in dozens of ways, making it the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe.
  2. Old Navy Mid-Rise Raw-Edge Rockstar Jeans in Blackjack – Two trends that I’ve loved lately and am eager to jump on are raw hem jeans and black jeans, making this pair the great way to try both!  I love the ripped knees and subtly shredded areas up the leg, which would add an edgy vibe to any look.
  3. H&M Textured Flounced Skirt in Black/Multicolored – This miniskirt follows the rising trend of the tiered ruffle skirt in a fun textured pattern.  This skirt screams winter to me and would look so cute with a sweater and over the knee boots!
  4. Turtleneck Sweater with Side Slits in Supersoft Yarn in Deep Alpine – Turtlenecks have made a comeback in recent trends and are suddenly not limited to your grandmother’s closet or the hand-me-downs you send to your younger cousins.  I love the color of this one, the hunter green tone reminds me of a Christmas tree and is such a great winter hue!  The side slits add a flattering modern spin to the age-old classic winter piece and the material labeled as “supersoft yarn” promises ultimate comfort.
  5. J.Crew Factory Everett Resin-Coated Twill Field Jacket in Mossy Brown – In an ultra-versatile army green hue, this jacket would be an awesome go-to winter jacket to throw on just about any outfit.  I currently own a jacket similar to this one from a boutique and I’ve worn it nonstop since purchasing it back in 2015, so it’s beginning to look a little worn and small.  I adore this one’s gold zipper and buttons and I think it would be great for both casual and slightly more formal uses.
  6. BP. Metallic Knit Beanie with Faux Fur Pompom in Grey – These pompom-topped beanie hats have been all the winter rage over the past few years and I love them!  This grey one would match tons of winter looks and the metallic accenting in the knitting is eye-catching!
  7. J.Crew Flannel Shirt in Navy Green – I’m definitely short on flannels and I absolutely adore the colors of this one!  Flannels can be worn tons of ways including around your waist, unbuttoned over a big tee, and buttoned up with some jeans.  Flannels are honestly great investments this time of year because they’re so versatile!
  8. Steve Madden Gills Platform Slip-On Sneakers in Rose Gold – I’m a sucker for metallic sneakers and slip-on shoes these days so these rose gold platform slip-ons are at the top of my wishlist!  My favorite thing about metallic shoes is that while they definitely make a statement, they’re completely neutral and can be worn with just about anything.
  9. Sam Edelman Paloma Over the Knee Boot in Black – If you ask me, this is the ideal over the knee boot.  Its black suede will match just about anything, its heel height is comfortably short but not awkward, and the tie detail in the back allows for some tightening adjustment but also adds a feminine touch!
  10. Madewell Oversized Jean Jacket in Capstone Wash – I’ve been on the lookout for a good jean jacket as of late and this one looks absolutely perfect!  The medium wash color and oversized fit are exactly what I’ve been looking for.  You can also add on monogramming for a vintage feel.

Fall Wishlist 2017

I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again; fall fashion is my absolute favorite.  I love layering the gorgeous fall tones and I’m absolutely ecstatic that fall weather seems to finally be setting in.  To say that I have a few fall items on my wishlist right now would be an understatement, so today I thought I’d round up a few items I’ve been eyeing in a fall wishlist!  I created a cute little graphic and numbered each item to coordinate with their name, link, and description below!  These items are by no means things I’m expecting to receive from anyone for any reason (Christmas and my birthday are both outside of fall so there’s really no reason for me to be receiving gifts right now), just items I’d totally buy if I had the money to.  Now that we’ve got that little disclaimer out of the way, let’s look at this wishlist!

  1. J.Crew Factory Quilted Puffer Vest in Bleached Sand – I bought my first J.Crew vest (the iconic herringbone vest) in September and I’m already sold on the quality enough to buy another.  Y’all know I love my white and I think this pretty cream color would be such a nice addition to darker outfits in the colder months of the year.
  2. J.Crew Tie-Waist Boatneck Sweater in Heathered Olive – I’m a sucker for a cute sweater and this one takes the cake!  I adore this olive green color for fall and I think the tie-waist detailing is just to die for.
  3. Vans Slip-Ons in True White – Maybe it’s just because I’ve watched a few too many of Danielle Carolan’s YouTube videos, but the white slip-on Vans have definitely grown on me recently.  I’ve gotten tired of my basic white Converses and think these would look so cute paired with ripped jeans, a button down, and my herringbone vest.
  4. Adidas Original Superstar Shoes in White – I’ve been so into sneakers lately and I find myself putting together outfits with these a little too much for someone who doesn’t even own them.  The simple black and white color combination make them super versatile and they could be dressed up or down!
  5. Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. Crossbody in Almond – I’ve been eyeing this bag for what seems like forever.  This is the most perfect camel/brown color for fall (or any season) and I love the gold hardware!  The Mini M.A.C. is such a classic style and I think it would be usable through several fashion phases.
  6. Urban Outfitters Motel Bridget Corduroy Pinafore Dress in Mauve – I’m crushing hard on this one.  If you’ve looked at my blog at all it’s easy to tell I love this blush pink hue, especially for the fall!  Corduroy is such a classic material yet it’s also so on trend right now… win-win if you ask me!  I think this dress could be styled a million different ways plus it has pockets!
  7. Barbour Beadnell Polar Quilted Jacket in Olive – I could totally see this timeless Barbour jacket becoming such a fall/winter staple for me.  I absolutely adore the quilting, color, and plaid lining of this coat and it’s definitely a piece that could be used forever.
  8. J.Crew Factory Flannel Shirt in Blue/Green/Coral –  If you ask me, this looks like the fall flannel.  I only have a couple flannels and this color combo is just too perfect!  It could be worn unbuttoned over a big tee shirt, worn buttoned up with jeans and L.L. Bean boots, or even unbuttoned over a dress; the styling options are endless for this flannel.
  9. Quay After Hours Sunglasses in Tort/Brn – I still don’t own a nice pair of sunglasses and I think these just might be the sunnies for me.  I really love the shape and color of this pair and they’re pretty reasonably priced for nice sunglasses!
  10. Kendra Scott Danielle Earrings in Slate – Yes, this would be my third pair of Danielle earrings and no, I don’t care.  This style is so simple and elegant yet eye catching and I love my two other pairs (rose quartz and white pearl) so I’m sure I’d love them in a neutral grey!  Grey has quickly become one of my favorite colors this season and I know these earrings would match just about anything!
